Do you vape? That’s a question that is becoming more and more common among young adults, aged 20-24, according to Stats Canada. But it may not be as safe as people think.
New studies show electronic cigarettes, marketed as safer than regular cigarettes, deliver a cocktail of toxic chemicals including carcinogens into the lungs. Even though vapes and e-cigarettes are gaining in popularity with each passing day, they simply haven’t been the subject of too much in-depth research, so the long term effects are unknown.
If you are considering using one of these devices, it is best to use caution.
